Skeleton Archer is a monster found in the upcoming Treaty of Champions Hero and Monsters collection, and in the Second Edition Conversion Kit.

Description

These undead horrors are armed with bows that fire shards of bone at their opponents. Uniquely powerful skeletons, identifiable by their glowing red eyes, are nearly impossible to kill.

Abilities

  • Pierce X: This attack ignores X Shield rolled on the defense dice.
  • Reanimation: Each time this monster suffers Heart and is not defeated, it recovers Heart equal to either the amount suffered or the number of monsters from this monster group within 3 spaces of it, whichever is less.

  • Skeleton Archers first appeared in the base game from Descent: Journeys in the Dark (first edition), where they were referred to simply as "Skeletons."
  • The Conversion Kit version of the Skeleton Archers has the ability Undying rather than Reanimation.
