Note: Rune Of The Phoenix only saves a monster when that monster suffers hearts equal to it's health, it does not trigger if some card or effect instantly destroys the monster (such as Blood Rage).
It is also noteworthy that since the monster immediately recovers 5 hearts, it is never destroyed and therefore does not trigger any effects that depend on the monster being destroyed.
