Where in the Throw ability do you see that it does an attack or uses the attack dice for damage?

Throw does not do an attack, it does a simple 1 damage.

You'll save yourself a lot of pain and mental suffering if you simply read what the cards and abilities say, instead of adding things to them that aren't there.
